A Small Group Of Tweeters Dominates Twitter

Earlier this month, a Pew Research Center survey found that 22 percent of U.S. adults use Twitter. Another study from Pew was published today and it found that a large majority of tweets come from a small minority of tweeters. In the U.S., the top 10 percent of tweeters account for 80 percent of all tweets while the bottom 90 percent of tweeters account for a mere 20 percent of all tweets.
