Germany Has the Highest Winter Olympic Medal Count

When it comes to success at the Winter Olympics, no country matches Germany. Since 1924, German athletes have won 128 gold, 129 silver and 101 bronze medals at the Winter Olympics, making for a grand total of 358.

Russia comes second in the all-time medal count with 123 gold, 92 silver and 93 bronze medals. Norway is the world’s third most successful nation at the Winter Olympics with 303 medals. Of these, 107 were gold, 106 were silver and 90 were bronze.
