Should Society Accept Homosexuality?

Society’s acceptance of homosexuality is a major issue across the world. Generally, Western Europe has an immensely positive attitude – 87 percent of people in Germany, 77 percent of people in France and 76 percent of people in Britain accept homosexuality.

In the United States, the rate of acceptance falls to 60 percent. Russia’s negative attitude to homosexuality has been widely publicised amidst the Winter Olympic games in Sochi with 74 percent of people considering it unacceptable.
