Some people consider e-scooters to be a lot of fun, while others see them as a dangerous threat. The small electric vehicles are increasingly becoming a topic of dispute in cities worldwide. The below infographic – created by our Statista Content & Information Design department – highlights the various benefits of the vehicles, as well as addressing their environmental impact. As the graphic shows, for example, the average e-scooter journey covers only 1.9 kilometres.
