BTS Outsells U.S. Artists in Album Sales

In the first half of the year, the K-Pop boyband BTS sold more albums than popular U.S. artists like Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift. The band had seven No. 1 hits on the World Digital Song Sales ranking, Forbes reported on November 10. Most of their top singles featured collaborations with other top artists: “Boy with Luv” featured Halsey, Lauv lent lyrics to “Make It Right,” “Dream Glow” includes Charli XCX, “A Brand New Day” features Zara Larsson and Juice WRLD is included in “All Night.”

BTS had more hits than any other K-pop band, have regularly outpaced other K-pop acts throughout their careers.
