According to data from the country's Federal Office of Statistics, boys born in Saxony Anhalt have the lowest life expectancy in the country at 76.3 years while the highest was recorded in Baden-Wurttemberg at 79.7 years. For girls, Baden Wurttemberg once again had the highest life expectancy at 84.1 years while Saxony-Anhalt was also lowest with 82.6 years.
