iPad Owners Pay More than Twice as Much for Apps as iPhone Users

According to data from Flurry Analytics, iPad owners have to fork out twice as much for apps as iPhone users. Android apps cost considerably less than both of those iOS devices. The average price for an iPad app in 2013 was 50 cents and an iPhone app was 19 cents. Android apps came in at just six cents.
