2020 Election

Who Dominated the Ninth Democratic Debate?

The ninth DNC debate last night saw six candidates for the 2020 presidential nomination square off in Las Vegas, Nevada. Contestant Michael Bloomberg took the stage for the first time after having joined the race late in November and was attacked by almost all fellow candidates on his track record conderning law enforcement and sexism during his time as a business tycoon and mayor of New York.

CNN tallied up the number of minutes spoken by each candidate. Elizabeth Warren, who was declared the winner of the debate by many, was in the lead with 16 minutes and 45 seconds spoken. Sens. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT) were in second and third place with 16 minutes, 4 seconds and 15 minutes, 48 seconds spoken, respectively.
