Solar Power Made Massive Strides in 2013

The past two years have proven extraordinarily successful for the solar power industry. In fact, during that period alone, new worldwide solar capacity almost matched the amount created since the invention of the solar cell. While Germany is the world leader in overall capacity, China added 11,300 megawatts in 2013, the largest photovoltaic addition by any country in a single year. This trend looks set to continue, meaning China will eventually become the world leader in solar capacity.
