Ebola Claims More Than 1,000 Lives in West Africa

According to the most recent data released by the World Health Organization, the current Ebola outbreak in West Africa has already claimed the lives of 1,013 people. With so many fatalities and almost 2,000 reported cases to-date, the current epidemic is by far the worst in history. Thus dar, the worst Ebola outbreak had occured in 1976, when 431 people had lost their lives in Sudan and in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
