The States With The Most Unauthorized Immigrants

US President Barack Obama's move on immigration reform could protect up to five million illegal immigrants across the United States from deportation. Which states actually have the highest share of unauthorized immigrants? According to the Pew Research Center, 7.6 percent of Nevada's population are unauthorized immigrants. California and Texas are both in second place with 6.3 percent each while New Jersesy comes in third with 5.8 percent. Those expected to benefit from Obama's plan include immigrants living in the US illegally for at least five years, have children who are US citizens or legal residents, and who pass criminal background checks.
