When comparing Gen-Z and millenials with Gen-X, it is pehaps unsurprising that the digital native generations are more likely to be influenced by social media, TV shows and movies than Gen-Xers. Yet, in a 2023 survey of travelers almost a quarter of Gen-Xers surveyed indicated that Facebook and Instagram were influencing factors in their decision to book a trip to a destination.
