Developed Megacities To Lead Consumer Spending Growth

Research from Euromonitor predicts that the biggest changes in consumer expenditure in the world's megacities will occur in those of the 'developed world'. New York, LA and London top the list with 23, 15 and 13 percent growth forecast respectively. At the other end of the scale, São Paulo, Moscow and Rio de Janeiro are expected to see negative growth of up to 1.4 percent.
