Wiretapping

Most Americans Think Trump's Wiretapping Claims Are False

FBI director James Comey and NSA chief Admiral Mike Rogers are due to testify before Congress about Donald Trump's unsubstantiated claim that he was wiretapped by Barack Obama as well as possible Russian interference in the election. Comey is expected to pour cold water on the former but what do the American public think? According to a YouGov poll published earlier this month, the public largely rejects Trump's wiretap accusations. 50 percent of people say it's false that Obama ordered wiretaps on Trump's phones while 46 percent of people believe Obama administration officials more about the allegations.
