Lobbying of former ministers in the UK in 2021
In April 2021, most Britons (61 percent) said that it was unacceptable for former ministers to be employed to help firms win government contracts, or work at firms who worked on government contracts while they were in office (58 percent). Only 20 percent and 15 percent of Brits said that it was acceptable for ministers to provide advice, or work for companies bidding for government contracts respectively.
