Worldwide number of internet shutdowns H2 2015-H1 2023, by region
In the first half of 2023, four cases of internet connection disruption were recorded in Asia. Furthermore, three network shutdowns happened in African countries, while North America saw one. Overall, Asia is the region where most internet shutdown cases were recorded between the second half of 2015 and the first half of 2023.
