Germans are critical of capitalism
Even though Germany is Europe's economic powerhouse, German people are critical of capitalism. According to a survey conducted by YouGov, only 16 percent of Germans consider capitalism positive while 52 percent see it as a bad thing. 60 percent of those polled think the rich get richer and the poor get poorer while 41 percent say capitalism exploits the weak. A quarter of Germans think capitalism presents economic opportunities for a country. Read more in The Local.
