The Issues Most Likely To Start A Thanksgiving Argument

For many American families, there comes a stage during Thanksgiving when the delightful discussion descends into debate and disagreement. Website FiveThirtyEight conducted a survey to identify the issues that get people hot under the collar during the holidays. Back in 2014, discussion about president Barack Obama (11.4 percent) was most likely to start an argument, just ahead of talk about personal debt (10.0 percent). This year, President Trump is going to be the biggest point of Thanksgiving contention by far with 36.8 percent of people thinking discussion about him will lead to an argument.
