Is the Media Becoming More Biased?
The U.S. public's view of news coverage in the country as being politically biased has risen dramatically over the last few years. A study by Gallup for the Knight Foundation has shown that the share of Americans that see a 'great deal' of political bias in the news is currently 45 percent - an increase of 14 percentage points over ten years and of 20 points since 1989.
