Drug Use in Ireland

In recent years, the number of people taking illicit drugs in Ireland has steadily increased. However, according to data from the most recent Drugs Ireland publication, the substances consumed have not changed much. The following infographic shows that cannabis is the most common illicit drug consumed by both young adults aged 15-34 (13.8 percent) and all adults aged 15-64 (7.7 percent). It's followed by MDMA, cocaine and then amphetamines.
