Global M&A Activity in 2018

Based on figures from the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances, this infographic pulls together M&A activity from around the world to show the regions most involved in terms of the raw number of deals and those which saw the largest value. North America was ahead on both counts, making up 36 percent of all deals and accounting for a majority 52 percent of the value - both figures were an increase in the 2017 figures.
