Oktoberfest pumps up its beer prices again

From September 21, Munich will again be welcoming visitors from around the world for Oktoberfest. But the merry pleasure so many are seeking is getting more expensive from year to year: According to the Internet side Oktoberfest.de a liter, or 'Maß' of beer will cost this year between €10.80 and €11.80 and is thereby on the average 3.1 percent more expensive than in the previous year. As our chart shows, Oktoberfest beer prices have risen every year since 2004.
