Which cities worldwide have the highest prices for hotel room service? According to a survey conducted by Tripadvisor, you should avoid Helsinki if you're staying in a hotel on a tight budget. Room service in the Finnish capital is scandalously expensive with a simple club sandwich costing $38. If you get thirsty and decide to open the minibar, water will cost you $6.40 while peanuts come in at $12. Norway’s capital Oslo is well known for its high prices and it comes in second – a club sandwich in a hotel there will cost $29.40. Seoul rounds off the top three with average room service items adding up to $73.31.
