Britain's racial divide in unemployment

There is a noticeable disparity in black and minority ethnic (BME) and white employment levels across the UK. According to a report from the TUC, BME unemployment is higher in every region of the UK. The disparity is biggest in Yorkshire and Humberside and lowest in the East and South East of the country. The report said that institutional racism and discrimination in the labour market are the main reasons for these shocking figures. Read more in the indy100.
