The Value Of U.S. Trade With TPP Countries

President-elect Donald Trump has announced that he will withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) on his first day in office, describing it as "a potential disaster for our country". TPP, some seven years in the making, will be replaced by "fair bilateral trade deals" with the eleven countries involved. As the Statista infographic below shows, the value of trade with these countries is far from insignificant, totalling over 1.5 trillion dollars in 2015.
