U.S. Car Sales Beat All Expectations in 2016
Car dealers pushed the year’s total sales to a record 17.55 million cars and light trucks – and beat all analysts' expectations - a feat considered unlikely just six months earlier. 2016 was the seventh year of growth in a row thanks to aggressive discounting and burgeoning U.S. consumer confidence, according to Bloomberg.
