Performance of Medicaid/CHIP children's health quality measures 2020
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) established a set of health care quality measures for children in Medicaid and CHIP. State reports have so far been voluntary, but will be mandatory starting FY 2024.
In 2020, among the 45 states that reported rates of MMR immunization of children, the median performance rate was 88.2 percent. This statistic shows the median performance rates on select frequently reported child core set care quality measures of Medicaid/CHIP in 2020.
