Some People Are Better Than Others to Really Leave Work Behind on Holidays

Not letting go of work while on holiday can have bad long-term consequences, because it's highly unlikely that you will replenish your batteries when your head's still at the office. Some employees can let go better than others.

In Germany, for example, 68 percent of people agree (strongly and somewhat) to the suggestion that they don't check work messages and emails while on holiday. In Japan it's only 31 percent. Overall, in the 25 countries surveyed, 46 percent of people are unlikely to check for work related communications, according to Ipsos.
