A specter is haunting the world...

… its name is Karl Marx. On the fifth of May he would have turned 200 and even though the founding member of the first International Workingmen Association can not partake in the celebrations in his honor; his theories, his works and his ideals have an everlasting impact on our world. Some would even argue his political and economic theses are more relevant than ever.

In a time where wage agreements and fair labor conditions get easily levered out by companies like Uber, Deliveroo or Amazon and where employees are afraid of falling prey to the ever-escalating automation and digitization, nobody – regardless of ideology - can escape from Marx’s theories and predictions. Reason enough to browse his life and his works once again - without any political bias.
