How Irish people's height has changed over 100 years

Irish men and women have gotten taller on average over the past 100 years, according to figures published in the eLife journal. In 1914, Irish men and women were 166.4cm and 154cm tall respectively on average. By 2014, that had increased to 178.9cm for men and 165.1cm for women.
