The United States added another 283,000 millionaires to its 13.6 million total between 2015 and 2016. As impressive as that may seem, Japan actually recorded the largest growth in millionaires of any country worldwide. Between 2015 and 2016, Japan's millionaire club expanded by 738,000. The United Kingdom lost the most millionaires over the past 12 months with its total falling by 406,000.
