Consumer spending on cruise travel in the United States increased by 142 percent in the week ending July 18, 2021, over the same period of the previous year. That being said, when comparing 2021 figures to 2019, U.S. consumer spending on cruise trips dropped by 60 percent as of the week ending July 18, 2021.
