Share of employees with a temporary job in Norway 2021, by age group
In 2021, the largest share of employees on a temporary contract was among youth aged 15 to 24 years. 30 percent of people in this age group had a temporary contract. Meanwhile, only 3.8 percent of employees in the age groups 40 to 54 years and 55 to 74 years worked temporarily. That year, a total of 9.3 percent of the employees worked on temporary contracts in Norway.
