Share of employees with a temporary job in Norway 2012-2022
The share of employees in Norway working on a temporary contract fluctuated over the last ten years, but was never above ten percent. It was at its lowest in 2020, when 7.7 percent of employees in Norway worked part-time, and at its highest in 2021, when it increased to 9.3 percent. Compared to other countries in Europe, Norway had a low share of employees on a temporary contract.
