Italy: distribution of foreign tourists by travel reasons in Tuscany 2016
This statistic illustrates the share of foreign tourists travelling to Tuscany for work and personal reasons in the period from January to December 2016. According to the study, the majority (almost 93 percent) of foreign tourists visited Tuscany for personal reasons, with 67 percent of these respondents going on holiday there. By contrast, only 7 percent of foreign visitors went to Tuscany on business trips or for work-related reasons.
