In 2021, total military equipment exports from Norway continued to increase and reached over three billion Norwegian kroner. Bombs and grenades were the type of weapon that reached the highest export value at over 1,4 billion kroner, followed by weapons and weapon parts at 1,2 billion kroner. The largest recipient of Norwegian military equipment were other NATO countries.
