Statistics report on insurance types and insurance companies in the Netherlands
This report presents facts and statistics about insurance in the Netherlands. As "Insurance in the Netherlands" is a rather broad term, this report tries to collect multiple aspects of this topic and is meant to answer questions like "which insurance companies are the biggest in the Netherlands?", "what are key figures on Dutch health insurances?" or "how many pension funds are there in the country?" Note that the Netherlands does things differently than, for example, the United States. The country does not have, for example, something that matches "property and casualty insurance" (as in: one insurance that covers all risks related to a home, in the Netherlands these are all separate insurance policies).
Examples of figures found in this report are statistics about life insurance, the biggest health insurance companies and customer drivers for choosing their car insurance. Moreover, the report provides facts and figures on retirement pensions.
Note that we also offer other reports with a more specific focus on certain aspects talked about here. These include:
We provide information on industries, companies, consumers, trends, countries, and politics, covering the latest and most important issues in a condensed format.
