Your job

What you do

  • You are accountable for delivery of our Search & API team. The team’s responsibility is technical ownership of our onsite search and the customer facing API.
  • You are the people lead for a team of engineers. You are expected to enable them to be the most impactful they can be and iterating with them towards a high-performing team. You will be responsible for all aspects of their professional development.
  • Our onsite search is the most crucial interaction point of our customers to discover our broad variety of content types, e.g. statistics or reports. You and the team will constantly improve our search to satisfy the user needs for information.
  • Additional our API allows paying customers to integrate our data into their tools and processes
Your skills

Who you are

  • Leadership experience and good communication skills
  • Track-record of building high-performing teams
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Experience with JVM-based languages (or Rust), search engines and AWS (CDK)
  • Background in an information retrieval & filtering (e.g., search, recommendation, AI) environment
