Germany's Social-Distancing Measures Are Having An Effect

Even though the number of daily new COVID-19 infections recorded in Germany remains in the four-digit range, it appears like the county's social distancing measures are having an impact. According to the latest Johns Hopkins University data reported by Worldometer, 4,031 new cases were confirmed on April 05, yet another consecutive decline. Despite the downward trend, German authorities have urged caution, stressing that a reliable picture will only emerge after Easter.
