America’s Top GreenTech Companies 2024
For the first time, TIME and Statista, are searching for America’s Top GreenTech Companies. The results of this research are expected to be published by TIME in February 2024.
The goal is to give readers insights into a quickly-growing and highly relevant industry, helping them make environmentally conscious consumption decisions, and pointing investors to promising investment opportunities.

The application period runs from October 25th to December 22nd, 2023.
The final ranking will be based on an aggregated scoring model rating each GreenTech Company based on the analysis and weighting of relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
What are the eligibility criteria to be considered for the ranking?
- The company must be headquartered in the US.
- The company must focus primarily on developing and providing green technologies, products or services that help mitigate or reverse the impact of human activities on the environment.

- Is there a fee for application?
No, since this is the project's inaugural iteration, this year's application is free of charge.
- Which companies are eligible?
To be considered for the ranking a company must:
- be headquartered in the US.
- focus primarily on developing and providing green technologies, products or services that help mitigate or reverse the impact of human activities on the environment. - Do I have to pay to appear on the published list?
No, however, all winners interested in showcasing and advertising their achievement will have the opportunity to acquire the official "America's Top GreenTech Companies 2024" logo to incorporate into their marketing strategy.
- Is the top list "America's Top GreenTech Companies 2024" funded by a greentech company or commissioned by a specific customer?
No, the list is a journalistic publication, funded, directed, and supported by TIME and Statista.
- How are the winning companies identified?
The final ranking will be based on an aggregated scoring model rating each greentech company based on the analysis and weighting of relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Am I allowed to share the link to this application website with others?
Yes, you may share this link with others.
- Until when is it possible to participate?
