According to a survey for experts on Southeast Asia from the various industries and in academia in Singapore, 31.2 percent of respondents were confident that the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) would be signed in 2019. The RCEP is a proposed free-trade agreement between the ten members of ASEAN and their main trading partners in the Asia-Pacific, namely China, Japan, India, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.
