
Regional experts' opinions on the CPTPP Singapore 2019
According to a survey for experts on Southeast Asia from the various industries and in academia in Singapore, 74.6 percent of those surveyed said that the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) was important in keeping the momentum towards a rules-based and high-quality regional trade regime. The CPTPP is the third-largest free-trade area globally, and is between eleven countries: Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam.
