Leading activities among U.S. American tourists in Japan 2022
According to a survey conducted in the departure lobbies of Japanese airports and seaports throughout 2022, nearly all U.S. American tourists ate Japanese food while in Japan, making it the most common activity among visitors from the United States. Japanese cuisine was followed in popularity by shopping-related activities as well as nature and scenery sightseeing.
