Travel spending of inbound visitors in Guatemala 2010-2021, by purpose
The expenditure of international tourists in Guatemala traveling for personal purposes amounted to around 300 million U.S. dollars in 2021, while inbound business tourism spending totaled 71 million dollars that year. Figures do not include transport expenses. In the previous year, travel expenditures due to both personal and business reasons in the Central American country surpassed 299 million U.S. dollars.
