Uruguay: per capita daily spending of foreign visitors 2010-2019
According to UNWTO data, foreign visitors in Uruguay spent on average nearly 100 U.S. dollars per day in 2019. This represents a decrease of 2.3 percent compared to the previous year, and the second consecutive decline in the South American country. In the past decade, the per capita spending of international tourists in Uruguay peaked in 2012 at 117 U.S. dollars per day.
