Quarterly gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate in Denmark 2019-2022
The largest growth of the Danish gross domestic product (GDP) was registered in the third quarter of 2020, when it grew by 5.2 percent compared to the previous quarter, after having sunk by more than seven percent in the previous quarter due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After no growth in the first quarter of 2021, it was positive through the rest of the year. In the first quarter of 2022, the GDP of Denmark had a negative growth of 1.1 percent compared to the last quarter of 2021, but it was positive again in the second and third quarter.
