Impact of COVID-19 on employment among urban and rural population in Vietnam 2021

As surveyed by Infocus Mekong in January 2021 in Vietnam, 55 percent of respondents living in rural areas reported having no impact from the COVID-19 pandemic on their employment status. In comparison, 39 percent of urban respondents claimed the same. In general, the negative influence of the COVID-19 pandemic on employment was more prevalent among urban respondents.
