Price of solar PV systems in Chile by size 2020

In Chile, the average price of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems decreased by at least 16 percent between 2017 and 2020, regardless of its size range. The biggest decline was registered for systems ranging between one and five kilowatts, which dropped from more than 2.3 thousand U.S. dollars per kilowatt to around 1.6 thousand dollars per kilowatt. Meanwhile, the price of solar systems with a capacity between 500 and 1500 kilowatts dipped below 900 dollars per kilowatt in 2020.
