Number of young NEET population South Korea 2008-2021
In 2021, the number of people aged 15 to 29 years who were Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) in South Korea was estimated at around 1.59 million, slightly down from around 1.64 million in the previous year. According to the source, the NEET rate reached about 20.9 percent in South Korea, which was the third highest among the surveyed 13 member countries of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
