Private consumption expenditure on transport services in Israel 2014-2021
In 2021, the private consumption expenditure on transport services in Israel amounted to slightly over 40 billion Israeli shekels (roughly 11 billion U.S. dollars). This was a significant increase compared to the previous year. The private spending on transport services gradually increased during the observed period, except for the drastic decline in 2020. In that year, the Israeli government imposed transport restrictions as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
